DIGITAL STRATEGY

The Bibliographical Society of America is dedicated to the study of texts. As lovers of a wide set margin and a classic typeface, they had our attention. We discovered The BSA was not just a gaggle of librarians discussing binding, but a diverse and spirited group of people interested less in the stories the words carried than the stories told by the books themselves.

Our goal with our brand strategy work in this case was how to iterate The BSA in the digital space in a way that highlighted their work with artifacts, but felt fresh and accessible. Once the brand started coming to life and the target audience was established, we got to work with Studio Ghazaal Vojdani and Julia Novitch to create a lively, yet user-friendly take on the work of The BSA.

The next phase of this project is to share the cool work The BSA is up to on social, and hopefully expand the knowledge of this study to a wider audience of fellow text enthusiasts. Stay tuned.
